We are empowering hospitality operators to engage with their customers and provide an exceptional dining experience while saving time and money with advanced software solutions. At Cheqit we are driving the future of ordering and payments in the hospitality sector.
We are growing our client base quickly and are looking for passionate and experienced backend engineers to join our team and journey in Armenia, where we will be launching the product soon!
About the Role
What are we looking for?
It is not mandatory, but if you have prior experience working on software related to payments, restaurants or POS systems this will be of great interest to us. If you have notable experience in high performance, high availability, distributed architecture we would love to hear from you.
Requirements
What you will do:
Fast paced learning environment, a place to grow both technically and as an individual.
UI/UX development - Assess and improve product UX
Frontend architecture design
Create high-quality technical design documentation
Key technical skills & requirements:
3+ years of relevant work experience building frontend applications using modern programming languages, frameworks and technologies
Ability to assess product requirements and create technical designs
Experience working in an agile and cross-functional team
ES6+
React
Experience with Redux, Apollo Cache, MobX or Reflux (we use Redux) / REST
Git/Jira/Figma
Strong communication and time management skills
Team player and open-minded
Strong attention to detail
Working proficiency in English
Fluency in Armenian
It will be a plus:
Typescript
Test
Apollo / GraphQL experience
React Native / Flutter
